Being in Paradise can be quite exhausting sometimes...

On the way back after a good swim in an amazingly Sweet and soft natural water pool, she couldn't help but fall asleep on the back of the bike.

I am so grateful for all the joy, beauty and freedom my kids experience in their lifes.

Earth Schooling to me is following our unique and natural flow. Though sometimes complicated and awkward to trust this flow, I am so happy we are doing it anyway.

Our own way, following our guts and intuition. Trust and Love are guiding us on our way.

It is Summertime! Time to enjoy a picknick with flowers in your hair (and in your food!)

But... How annoying it can be when wasps and other insects are buzzing around us, looking for something to eat?

And then the stings and bites they give us, with pain and itchyness as a result?

I love summer, but I not like this aspect of it...

Last wild food walk I stepped on a wasp nest, hidden under the sand. Of course the little inhabitants were not at all amused...

Me and two of the participants got stung by them and this made me to write my latest blogpost.

Wild Roots Herbal Gathering @wildrootsherbalgathering. A few weeks ago, me and my girls spent four days at this amazing festival.

I prepared and organized the Kids Area with inspiring workshops for the children, from natural dyeing to performing arts.

With this beautiful group of women and their children we came together to deepen our wisdom on herbs, ancient crafts and so much more.

This, to me is one way to feel more connected with Mother Earth and all that lives on her: plants, animals, humans...

Wild Adventures in the North of Holland! Last week, after a few days having fun with family near the dunes of Castricum, we came together with a group of curious beings.

Home learners, wild schoolers: give it a name! A group of amazing families who all choose not to send their children to conventional schooling.

They come together regularly, and ask interesting people to teach them something special.

So I was asked, what an honour!

We spent more than two hours strolling around and meeting all kinds of edible herbs.

Luckily there were some great trees around, so the adventure ended with some good tree climbing!

(Oh and with the good old pesto eating ;)

And it is High Time to Dry! We are drying wild flowers, roots, leaves and berries.

To create magical medicines. Massage oils, healthy tinctures, delicious teas.

Nature creates abundance. With her gifts, we create magic.

On the picture, you see Iris roots, cut in shape to become necklaces. These natural necklaces can be used by babies to chew on when teeth are popping up.

There are so many roots, leaves and flowers that can help us to ease up life. In so many ways.

I love to learn more about this abundance. Every day a bit. Step by step. And to forward my gathered wisdom during courses, walks, adventures and workshops.

Textiel dyeing with natural colours. We are at a Herbal Gathering organised by @wildrootsherbalgathering during which our knowledge and Wisdom about herbs and their Powers are deepened even more.

The girls came along too. There is a special kids programme in which they het to do fun things with herbs and other natural resources.

Beautiful to be surrounded with amazing women and children. To learn from Them and to get inspired by Them.

We do not need to know it all. It is the village, the community, that holds the Wisdom and knowledge we need. Together we know so very much.

Discovering the tides, the edible coastal vegetation, the (wild) animals and the sun.

We were on another Nature Adventure with the kids from @vovie_hodenpijl!

Learning from the natural elements that we are surrounded with, provides us with so many learning possibilities.

Each child learns differently. Each child is motivated differently. Each child is different.

Learning in nature means each child had the possibility to learn. At her own pace, from her own instrinsic motivation.

Another beautiful day to remember... !

Some quick pics from my garden. Just a few months old and already giving is so much Joy and abundance.

Every piece of Earth van be turned into Paradise. My first garden was started on an empty construction lot in the center of The Hague.

In one Day we manifested Paradise with more than 40 beautiful souls: digging a pond, putting up pergolas, planting Trees, creating a fire pit, sowing flowers...

When you have a dream, we can live upon it. When we have a collective dream, we surely can make it. Together.

Together we thrive. Many hands make light work. As one, we can manifest our dream. A dream of a Paradise on Earth.

We are the ones we have been waiting for.
